Eos Positioning Systems releases the Arrow 200® Receiver with RTK support

The Arrow 200® Provides Centimeter Accuracy with Support for Atlas®

MONTREAL, CAN. — Eos Positioning Systems®, Inc. (Eos), the leading global manufacturer of affordable high-accuracy GNSS receivers for the bring-your-own-device (BYOD) market, announced today the release of the Arrow 200® Bluetooth® GNSS receiver. The Arrow 200® is able to achieve eight centimeter real-time accuracy, virtually anywhere in the world, thanks to its support for the new Atlas® H-10 GNSS correction service.

The Arrow Series® are a set of high-accuracy GNSS receivers supporting real-time field positioning at the submeter to centimeter level.

How the Arrow 200® Receiver with RTK Works with Atlas® H-10 Correction Service

The Atlas® H-10 correction service, announced last month, is a revolutionary new real-time correction service that meets or exceeds existing correction services and offers market-leading pricing. Atlas® H-10 corrections are delivered by geostationary satellite or via internet connection to the Arrow 200® receiver — for real-time decimeter accuracy virtually anywhere in the world.

Atlas® H-10 and the Arrow 200®, support all active GNSS constellations, including GPS, Glonass, Galileo, Beidou and QZSS. This gives the user ultra-fast convergence time, the secret behind providing real-time decimeter accuracy.

The Arrow 200® GNSS receiver with Atlas® H-10 is targeted at professionals in the mapping and GIS communities who require high-accuracy location in the environmental, agricultural, utility (e.g., electric, gas, water), pipeline, archeological, surveying, machine-control, government (i.e., federal, state, provincial, local), and other sectors.

The Arrow 200 ®also employs universal Bluetooth® connectivity. This means a user can access high-accuracy location in an interface on any brand of smartphone or tablet, whether the user prefers iOS, Android, or Windows, or Windows Mobile devices. Bluetooth® connectivity is long-range (i.e., one kilometer), letting users work in all types of field environments.

The Arrow 200® receiver has also been optimized to run all day on battery power. Its battery pack is field-replaceable and rechargeable separately. Like all Arrow Series® receivers, the Arrow 200® has been designed to meet IP-67 specifications for immersion in water. It is completely dust-proof, to survive in the harshest environments.
