About the 2018 NW GIS Conference in Washington

The 2018 NW GIS Conference in Washington celebrates its 33rd year. Esri President Jack Dangermond will give a speech. Attendees take advantage of pre-conference workshops, user and vendor sessions, networking opportunities, and more. This year, Eos will show attendees how to take advantage of high-accuracy field solutions, including how to get high-accuracy on your own phone or tablet.

From the conference website:

“GIS continues to evolve. It is playing an increasingly large role in the digital transformation of society. Clearly, the advances in GIS are helping users do their work better but they are also helping organizations understand and communicate in whole new ways. They are helping break down organizational barriers and facilitate new forms of collaboration around shared geographic information. Today, there are outstanding implementation examples across dozens of domains around the world, where the new web GIS pattern is growing rapidly and making a difference across organizations.”
