Eos Positioning Systems^® (Eos) was proud to participate as a Gold Sponsor at the 2024 Esri User Conference (Esri UC) once again this year in San Diego, California. Our team was excited to unveil and demonstrate our new line of GNSS receivers, the Skadi Series™.

Our booth experienced a new personal record for interactions and amount of interest, and we were thrilled to meet and reconnect with plenty of customers and professionals in the GIS industry.

Monday, July 15, 2024: Kicking Off Esri UC Week Strong!

On the first day of the UC, our team was abuzz with excitement. After attending an exciting plenary, we ventured into the San Diego sunshine to put our brand-new line of GNSS receivers, the Skadi Series, to the test in the local environment!

Eos Positioning Systems Team Demonstrates The High-Accuracy of the Skadi Series in San Diego at the Esri User Conference — After the plenary, the Eos Positioning Systems team headed out in the San Diego sunshine to put the brand-new capabilities of the Skadi Series to the test with our local RTK base station!

Our team immediately had fun demonstrating Skadi Tilt Compensation™ with each other and seeing to what “degree” (har, har) they could push its limits. Eos Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Jean-Yves Lauture even put the receiver on the ground and was seeing incredible results. And did you hear? Skadi Tilt Compensation introduces only ~0.3 millimeters (0.01 inches) of inaccuracy per degree of tilt!

Tuesday, July 16, 2024: Exhibit Hall Opens with Eos in Booth 927

As the exhibit hall doors opened on Tuesday, July 16, crowds of enthusiastic mappers surged into the expo! Our representatives were excited to learn about the work of everyone who stopped by. We were also encouraged by the equal amount of excitement for our latest GNSS receiver product line, the Skadi Series. It was interesting to learn how users were already envisioning how the Skadi Series could help them achieve their mapping goals.

Wednesday, July 17, 2024: More Expo Excitement, Including Live Demos Under the Sun!

If you noticed GNSS equipment on a range pole moving in and out of the San Diego Convention Center during the UC, that was likely one of our team members! In these photos, we highlight some of our favorite moments our representatives spent outside demonstrating the easy capabilities of both the Skadi Series and Arrow Series GNSS receivers! (We’d also like to submit a world’s first to Guinness World Records for our representative Isaiah Mack, who might be the world’s first exhibitor to get a sunburn while working an indoor expo!)
