Pairing your Skadi Series™ GNSS receiver to an iOS® device is a simple process, similar to connecting Bluetooth® headphones. Follow the steps below to establish a successful connection:
Step 1: Power On the Skadi GNSS Receiver
Ensure your Skadi GNSS receiver is turned on and that your battery is charged. Learn how to charge your Skadi GNSS receiver battery here.
Step 2: Open Bluetooth Settings on Your iOS Device
On your iPhone®, iPad®, or iPad mini® go to Settings. Tap Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
Step 3: Select Your Skadi GNSS Receiver
Under Other Devices, locate your Skadi GNSS receiver in the list. You will see this as the Skadi model name and eight-digit serial number, such as Skadi Gold GNSS 23600000.
Tap on the device name to begin pairing.
If you receive a Bluetooth Pairing Request pop-up, select Pair.
Step 4: Verify the Connection
Once paired, your Skadi GNSS receiver will appear under My Devices with a “Connected” status.
Your receiver will also appear in your iOS device settings under Settings > General > About > Eos GNSS Receiver.
Your receiver is now ready for use with compatible applications.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Ensure your receiver is fully charged before pairing.
- If the device does not appear, turn Bluetooth off and on again on your iOS device.
- Restart both the receiver and the iOS device if you experience connectivity issues.
- Always make sure your Skadi receiver is listed under the Settings > General > About > Eos GNSS Receiver section as described above.
