What’s New in High-Accuracy GNSS/GPS for Esri Users [A 2024 Esri UC Session]
This past July, attendees of the 2024 Esri User Conference (Esri UC) joined Eos CTO Jean-Yves Lauture, Esri Product Engineering Director Jeff Shaner, and DMG Principal Consultant Eric Gakstatter for our annual hosted lunch session. They provided comprehensive overviews of the latest line of Eos Skadi Series GNSS receivers, advancements in the GNSS industry, and updates for ArcGIS Field Maps. Littlerock Creek Irrigation District faced challenges locating buried components due to sand and outdated records. With help from MC Engineering, they developed a GIS program and used high-resolution aerial surveys and an Eos GNSS receiver for accurate asset mapping. The GIS now allows staff to efficiently locate and manage assets on mobile devices, improving operational efficiency and compliance with the new regulations.
