Costa Rica’s most rural electric distribution company, Coopeguanacaste, recently transformed its electric distribution services. With the help of consultancy Nimbustech, they replaced outdated asset records with high-accuracy location data — mapping over 52,000 utility poles — and migrated to the ArcGIS Utility Network. Today, the digital transformation has helped them improved efficiency, decision-making, and resource management.
