Current GNSS Satellite Status: July 27, 2026
Since last month: Total global operational orbital (usable) GNSS satellites increased by 2. Here’s what caused the uptick:
GPS’s total operational orbiting satellites increased by 1 (30 returned to 31, as it was our May checkin).
Galileo’s total operational orbiting satellites increased by 1 (27 increased to 28).
Satellites in the following constellations stayed the same month-over-month: BeiDou, GLONASS, QZSS, IRNSS.
