Eos GNSS frequently asked questions FAQ

My Arrow GNSS receiver does not appear to be tracking satellites. What should I do?

The first thing you need to do when addressing satellite tracking issues is always set up the Arrow in an area outside with a clear view of the sky, free of trees, buildings, and other obstructions.

When connecting the Arrow receiver and antenna, make sure the antenna cable is only finger-tightened. Over tightening can put too much strain on the antenna connector components. So just use your fingers to tighten, no tools.

Power on the Arrow receiver and allow it up to five minutes to track and fix on GNSS satellites. You can now connect to the Arrow with Eos Tools Pro.

If the Arrow still does not appear to be tracking satellites, it’s possible the antenna cable has been damaged. Inspect the cable for any visible damage. If you have a spare antenna cable now might be the time to use it. Switch out the antenna cable with the spare antenna cable and remember to finger-tighten only.
