Eos GNSS frequently asked questions FAQ

What are the TX and RX indicators in the Eos Tools Pro app?

In the top right corner of the Eos Tools Pro app, you will see two circular light indicators labeled “TX” and “RX” as seen here:

1. Confirm that you have a valid GNSS position. To do this, go to the Status menu at the bottom and tap your Position menu. Your “Coordinates” should be populated and continuously updating.

These indicators provide information about whether you are sending and receiving corrections.

  • RX: The RX LED tells you whether Eos Tools Pro is receiving location data from your Eos GNSS receiver. When the RX LED is solid red (inactive), the app is not receiving location data from the receiver. When the RX LED is flashing red, the app is indeed receiving location data from the receiver.
  • TX: The TX LED tells you whether Eos Tools Pro is sending (transmitting) GNSS corrections to your Eos GNSS receiver when connected to an NTRIP corrections source (e.g., RTK). When the TX LED is solid green (inactive), the app is not sending corrections to your receiver. When the TX LED is flashing green, the app is indeed sending corrections to your receiver.
