When using an Eos GNSS receiver (Skadi or Arrow) with a range pole and RTK corrections, you’ll need to set an antenna height to ensure accurate elevations.
Typically, antenna height can be set in either Eos Tools Pro or your third-party data-collection app. In all cases, we recommend you set your antenna height only in Eos Tools Pro and not in your third-party app.
For instance, if you use ArcGIS® Field Maps for data collection, you would enter your antenna height in Eos Tools Pro and leave the antenna height as “0” in ArcGIS Field Maps.
Tip: If you enter the antenna height in both apps, you will double your antenna height and have incorrect elevation data.
Important Note for Skadi and Arrow Users as of 2025:
If you are using Eos Tools Pro on Android™ (any version) or Eos Tools Pro on iOS® version 4.0 or later, Eos Tools Pro is now able to handle the antenna height for both Arrow Series and Skadi Series GNSS receivers. Previously, iOS users might have used ArcGIS Field Maps. Arrow users may continue to use ArcGIS Field Maps if they choose, but Skadi users must use Eos Tools Pro to have the correct elevation. Skadi Tilt Compensation will not work if your antenna height is set in ArcGIS Field Maps rather than Eos Tools Pro.
